Payment and Refund Policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
Scope of the Policy and Covered Services
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of programming courses and related digital educational materials offered through glitzmorixfy. It covers online course access, downloadable resources, subscription-based learning modules, and any bundled support services provided to customers in the United Kingdom. The policy explains how payments are processed, when contracts are formed, and the circumstances under which refunds may be granted. It does not apply to third-party services or physical goods unless explicitly stated in the order confirmation.
Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Additional Charges
All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) unless otherwise indicated at checkout. Prices include value added tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate where applicable. Additional charges may arise for currency conversion fees imposed by your payment provider, premium support add-ons, or extended access periods. glitzmorixfy reserves the right to adjust prices for new enrolments, but existing customers will not face mid-term price increases on active subscriptions.
Accepted Payment Methods, Authorisation and Security
We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers for course purchases. Payment authorisation occurs immediately upon order submission. All transactions are secured using industry-standard encryption and comply with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards. glitzmorixfy does not store full card details; processing is handled by certified third-party gateways. If a payment fails authorisation, the order will not be confirmed and you will be notified via email.
Order Confirmation, Contract Formation and Booking Process
A contract is formed when you receive an order confirmation email after successful payment. This email details the courses purchased, access credentials, and applicable terms. Until this confirmation is sent, no binding agreement exists. For subscription services, the contract renews automatically unless cancelled in accordance with the cancellation section below.
Cancellation Rights and Applicable Periods
Under UK consumer law you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase during which you may cancel without providing a reason. This right applies to most digital courses provided access has not yet begun. If you start accessing course content during this period, you acknowledge that your cancellation right may be affected or lost. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time to prevent future renewals, but partial refunds for unused periods are not guaranteed outside the cooling-off window.
Refund Eligibility, Exclusions and Non-Refundable Items
Refunds are available within the 14-day cooling-off period if no substantial course content has been accessed. Completed courses, downloaded materials, and promotional bundles marked as non-refundable are excluded. Refunds will not be issued for change of mind after the cooling-off period, failure to meet technical requirements on your device, or dissatisfaction with course difficulty. Special rules apply to digital content once downloaded or streamed.
Step-by-Step Procedure to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact [email protected] or use the form on the Contacts page within the applicable period. Provide your order number, full name, email address associated with the purchase, and a brief reason for the request. Include any supporting details such as screenshots of access issues. Requests submitted without these details may be delayed. We aim to acknowledge receipt within two working days.
Inspection, Approval, Rejection and Notification of Decisions
Each refund request is reviewed individually. We inspect whether access logs show substantial use, whether the request falls within the cooling-off period, and whether any exclusions apply. You will receive a decision notification by email within ten working days. If approved, the refund will be processed promptly. If rejected, the email will explain the specific reasons and any alternative options available to you.
Refund Method, Processing Time and Receipt of Funds
Approved refunds are returned using the original payment method. Processing typically takes five to ten working days, though bank transfer refunds may require additional time depending on your financial institution. You will receive confirmation once the refund has been issued. In cases of chargebacks or fraud investigations, processing may be suspended until resolved.
Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions and Promotional Offers
Digital programming courses are supplied instantly upon purchase. By starting access you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that the 14-day cancellation right may be lost. Subscription cancellations stop future billing but do not automatically entitle you to a pro-rata refund. Promotional offers and discounted bundles are subject to the same cooling-off rules unless explicitly stated otherwise at purchase. Gift subscriptions are non-refundable once redeemed.
Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks and Suspected Fraud
Failed payments result in immediate order cancellation. Duplicate charges detected by our system are automatically investigated and refunded within seven days. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us may lead to suspension of your account pending review. Suspected fraudulent activity will be reported to relevant authorities and may result in permanent account termination without refund.
Mandatory UK Consumer Rights That Cannot Be Excluded
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and UK GDPR provisions. You retain the right to claim for goods or services that are not of satisfactory quality or as described. Any attempt to limit these rights is void. Disputes may be referred to alternative dispute resolution or the courts of England and Wales.
